WHAT IS BREEAM?
BREEAM stands for Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method. It's a framework that measures, scores and certifies how sustainable a construction project really is.
BRE launched BREEAM back in 1990. Since then, it's set the standard for environmental performance at every stage of a project, from the initial design through to spec, build, and operation. Whether a new build or a refurbishment, it applies to all.
WHAT BREEAM MEASURES
A BREEAM assessment scores projects across different lifecycle stages, including new construction, refurbishment, and in-use. Each one gets marked and evaluated against 12 core categories:

WHY IT MATTERS

The Progress Photos tool captures daily site conditions, including any surface water pollution. Monitor drainage runs with photos and inspections of catch pits, water treatment systems, and site water supplies. You can also link IoT devices to record any specific project needs.
